I believe that art is similar to life, it changes constantly. It depends on how you look at it, or more importantly how it makes you feel inside.
I simply look at life from a different angle, a different perspective that others might not see, understand, or experience. I am always fascinated by objects with auras of history and stories to tell; I love to capture the beauty of everything around me and believe in the subtle play of color and light to elicit our higher emotions.
My inspiration is deeply connected to my Armenian heritage. I am fascinated with ancient cultures and mythology. I interpret the world in three ways: Physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through my senses, feelings, and spirit, I encounter everything that life has to offer.
Sometimes, I never know what my paintings will look like before I begin and this mystery is exactly what creates the excitement and curiosity I need to stay inspired. I also embrace the freedom to change courses many times along the way, knowing each and every choice will be an important part of the finished art work.
